The top tier of our sustainability certification programme means you can proactively demonstrate best practice waste management throughout your organisation and supply chain. It shows you’ve achieved everything that is possible with current technologies and processes, including:

- Achieved zero landfill status through improved recycling
- Improved consumer/end user use and reuse/refill or recycling of producer products
Gold-certified businesses receive PR support and the full use of our online portal with sustainability scores and visuals. We’ll also help you proactively put initiatives in place to offset your carbon footprint so you can continue to go beyond minimising the negative by doing something positive.
We work with you to help implement more responsible and proactive waste management strategies.
- Your Certified Sustainability advisor will meet with you throughout the year to review progress and suggest areas for improvement
- Your web portal will be kept up-to-date so anyone from your business can view progress and understand their role in improving sustainability

Silver – we audit and verify
Your appointed Certified Sustainability advisor will audit your waste management process. Silver status is awarded to those who have made demonstrable and quantifiable improvements in waste reduction and recovery over a 12-month period.

The Certified Sustainable online portal
- You will have access to our powerful, online waste management portal, giving you total visibility and control over the fate of your business waste, helping to ensure that it doesn’t damage the environment.
- Everything is tracked, from separating waste through to checking your waste management company does what they say they will do. It’s auditable proof that stops waste becoming ‘someone else’s problem’.
- All data – from the audit of your waste trail to on-site processes – will be visibly available on your website portal and app, leaving an auditable trail that ensures your brand reputation is secure.

- Elevate your waste up the hierarchy, proactively find alternatives to landfill, and introduce you to new and more efficient processes for dealing with waste
- Create new on-site processes and guidelines to ensure waste is sorted and processed correctly at source for reuse or recycling
Bronze – self assessment
Affordable, open to all, and a great way to get started on your sustainability journey. A clear statement of intent that you’ve made a commitment to drive positive change.
- You’ll complete the forms we send you with honest and accurate information about your current waste management process e.g. where it’s created, where it goes, how it’s processed, how much goes to landfill, and the raw materials you use.
- With our support you will establish a goal or plan for where you want to be. This includes proactively looking at your supply chain to see where you could make more sustainable purchasing, product design, and packaging choices.
- We will measure the effect of the waste you generate (your CO2 footprint) and suggest sustainable practices you could adopt. You’ll also be able to trial our live waste-tracking app, disposal site auditing, and dashboard analysis tools
Illustrated and detailed report
Once we have your self-assessment, you’ll receive a fully illustrated and detailed report (entitled ‘Your Journey’) that you can share on your website, in the annual CEO report, in your company’s strategic vision, in tender proposals, or wherever you’d like.

Proactive checks
All members of the Certified Sustainable accreditation scheme will be subject to regular reviews and proactive checks so that we can ensure that positive changes are being made, and provide useful guidance and support. We reserve the right to strip an organisation of its status if they revert back to the “bad old ways”.
